Adjust what participants can see

In Univid you can preview what the webinar looks like for your participants. The feature settings enables you to reglate visibility of the participant counter, questions and other settings.

View as participant

Participant counter

The default mode is that the participant counter is hidden for other attendees. Meaning only you as admins can see how many people attend your webinar, and who they are.

In the admin view you can see that it says "hidden", meaning attendees won't be able to see how many others are in the webinar. Viewer count is then hidden, and the list of live attendees too.

You can double check the selected visibility also in the left sidebar within feature settings - where you also can enable or disable the participant section if you want to change it (or reveal the counter/list for attendees).

Finally, you can preview by going to the "participant view" and you can confirm that the attendee counter and participant list is not visible.

The image above illustrates what the preview looks like when chat, Q&A and participant section is disabled.

Remember: If you have the chat turned on, attendees can see the display name of the people that interact by writing in the chat - so if you want also interaction completely anonymous/hidden for attendees, you can use the Q&A instead and turn the chat off. Learn more in the video below:
