Sharing screen

Share your screen by navigating to the webinar studio. Then press the "Share" button in the bottom bar.

There you have the option to share screen using:

  1. Tab

  2. Window

  3. Full screen

Similar to any other browser based video application.

Sharing PDF

Sharing a PDF in the webinar studio can be a convenient way if you want to change slides directly inside of Univid, and not have multiple windows open.

To share a PDF you need to do two things:

  1. Upload the PDF as a resource. In the left sidebar under "Resources", drag and drop your PDF.

Note: When you upload a new resource, your co-hosts might have to reload the page to see and select it. Simply ask them to refresh the page.

  2. Share PDF inside the webinar studio. Share screen as you normally would by pressing "Share". Then in the dropdown select your PDF.

Voila! That's it. You can now toggle the slides in the PDF right inside of the Univid webinar studio.

Tip: If you want to hand out a PDF to the attendees instead of sharing it in the video. Consider using the CTA buttons.

Sharing video

To share video with music/audio you have two options. Either you:

(1) Upload the video (.mp4) as a resource under "resources". Then you choose the video when you screen share from the Webinar Studio.

(2) Share a tab - preferably using Chrome. Make sure that the switch "share audio" is selected - see the image below.

Preferably you should either use (1) and upload the video or use (2) and have the video locally on your computer to avoid any issues with internet connection.

Note: With (2) from your browser Chrome, can both play (A) a remote video (eg. Youtube video), or (B) a local video file sitting on your computer. Then you right click the video -> "open with Chrome" or drag and drop the video file into Chrome to open it.
