To get quickly started, check out the video below, giving you an overview of managing Univid webinars, registration and communication via Lyyti.
Getting started: Connect your Lyyti account
Today, you activate the Univid add-on via Lyyti by contacting the Lyyti support team at help(at)lyyti.com.
You can also reach out to Univid in the support chat, and we will help you.
Once the Lyyti x Univid add-on is active, you will see Univid as an option in the dropdown when creating new events directly in Lyyti - see step 1 below.
1. Create event in Lyyti
You start by creating your event in Lyyti.
First go to "+" in the top navbar. In the popup press "Event".
Secondly, select "online" as Event Type. And input the date, time and title. These details will follow automatically through the integration to your Univid webinar.
Thirdly, make sure you set "Event location" to Univid.
Note: You should see the Univid option in the Event Location if you have the add-on active. If not, contact Lyyti support at help(at)lyyti.com.
Finally, you can press "Save and continue". When you do the webinar will automatically be created for you in your Univid workspace.
A corresponding webinar will now automatically be created in your Univid workspace, with the same settings, like:
Webinar title
Time & date
Language
Let's go into Univid to confirm, and adjust branding or settings for the live webinar.
2. Confirm setup in Univid workspace
We can confirm our webinar is created for us by navigating to the Univid workspace.
We can see a corresponding webinar has been created in Univid. ✅ Looks good!
3. Adjust branding of live webinar in Univid
We can adjust the branding of the live webinar to make the attendee experience feel professional - from start to finish. And go from this.. 👇
To something like this.. 👇
For more details on how to design your webinar in Univid - see our design guide here. You can also choose how to interact with your audience - for example if you want an anonymous Q&A, public chat, CTA buttons, or polls.
3. Configure registration flow in Lyyti
Let's now have a look at the registration flow and event communication that is handled via Lyyti. By now, you've probably gotten the hang of Lyyti. So we will focus on inviting to the webinars.
A) Initial invite email from Lyyti. This is where you invite potential people that you think should register to the webinar. Typically, this is done by promoting the webinar landing page you have created in Lyyti. See more on the invite to registration page link in Lyyti:s help center.
B) Confirmation email and reminder emails
These emails go out to people that already registered for your webinar.
Typically, for reminders and confirmation emails sent from Lyyti you want to use the "Link to online event".
This is a personal webinar link from Univid, making sure each attendee gets logged in when the right info when pressing "join webinar".
The best practice is to configure a "join webinar" button that points to this personalized link. Go to "Action" under button settings, and press "Personalisation links".
Then in the "Add personalisation", you select the "Link to online event". Now the join webinar button should point to the right link and you can save your emails.
This way you can track attendance and engagement automatically, and the attendees won't have to register or login again to access the live webinar.
4. Test event registration
Feel free to finish the set up by testing registration flow. Preferably by registering with a test email (one you have access to).
First go to your Event registration page, then register, and check that you received a confirmation email.
Go to your inbox and click on the "join the webinar" in the confirmation email you configured previously.
You should automatically be able to join the webinar and see the welcome screen with the countdown (if you join before the webinar is schedule to go live).
Also, double check that the first name and last name you filled in when registering as a "test attendee", are filled in automatically in the top right corner.
No downloads, entirely browser-based! ⭐️
Note: you have to have the registration open and webinar scheduled for the right time in Lyyti to be able to join the webinar. So you might want to create a dedicated test webinar if you want to test this separately.
5. Go live and engage your audience in Univid
Learn more about going live to your audience in Univid - whether you use the virtual studio, stream via a studio and RTMP, or run simulated live webinars.
6. Get webinar engagement data from Univid to Lyyti
You will automatically get engagement data and lead signals from your webinar into the contacts in Lyyti, allowing you to:
follow-up accurately
segment your audience
understand who your warm leads from the webinars are
This way you can drive revenue from your webinars, and measure ROI from your events. And manage all events in place using Lyyti x Univid.
7. Configure your default webinar template (optional)
A tip to create branded webinars with the right settings quickly with Lyyti and Univid, is to create one (or more) webinar template in Univid.
Create a template from an existing webinar, by navigating to the webinar you like to create a template from. Click the "... Other" at the bottom of the sidebar menu > "Use webinar as template".
View your templates, by going to "Templates" in your workspace.
Select the default template you would like, and this template will be applied every time you set up a new webinar (and when you set it up from Lyyti).
Now you are good to go! Great job 🎉
